A busy weekend

It's Sunday evening and the end of a busy, but enjoyable, weekend. Friday was the day of our community Royal Wedding celebration. It was a very full day with something going on from 9am until 11pm (or 0.10am) if we include the time taken to clear up. Saturday was the day of the Church Fete, with accompanying Flower Festival. Today was the day of the special marriage service.
A good community weekend and, as many people have remarked, the "way things used to be". I'm doubtful that these halcyon days ever existed but it is pretty clear that the old fashioned sense of community still exists. It just takes certain events to make it more apparent.
Absolutely knackered and it will be nice to take it easy for a while. And next comes the June edition of the OSN and the bathroom!
