Walk: Yelverton to Clearbrook and return

Lest I forget, a few photographs from a 5 mile walk last week. This one started in Yelverton on the western fringes of Dartmoor and took a circular route to Clearbrook and back. Brilliant weather and a walk with interesting aspects of the industrial past of the area.
A young wren waiting patiently for its parents to bring it some food.
A robin on a post - just at the limits of my lens.
A cuckoo - just passed the limits of my lens! It's not often that you catch sight of these birds.
Sheepstor in the distance between the trees. About 5 miles away.
The Devonport Leat built around 1800 to take water from the moor to the expanding dockyard town of Devonport.
Granite sleeper beds of the old mineral tramway. Of similar vintage to the Devonport Leat.
